  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over each chicken breast and coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from air fryer, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
