Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil over each chicken breast and coat them in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from air fryer, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
