- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk for glaze
- ½ tsp vanilla extract for glaze
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined; stir in diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla to prepare the glaze.
- Let fritters cool slightly before drizzling them with glaze.
