- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup milk

- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt until smooth.
- Gradually add milk, lemon juice, and zest; mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks and then mix them into the lemon mixture.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form; gently fold into the lemon mixture.
- Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top. Cool slightly before serving dusted with powdered sugar.
