- 4 flaky French croissants
- 4–6 slices good-quality turkey
- 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise. Layer two slices of cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Add turkey slices on top of the cheese and finish with another slice of cheese.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds until smooth.
- Brush the glaze generously over each filled croissant and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving warm.
