  • 4 flaky French croissants
  • 46 slices good-quality turkey
  • 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the croissants in half lengthwise. Layer two slices of cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  3. Add turkey slices on top of the cheese and finish with another slice of cheese.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds until smooth.
  5. Brush the glaze generously over each filled croissant and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving warm.
