Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
- Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2 to 4 hours).
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove chicken from the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease with olive oil. Arrange marinated chicken in the dish and pour any remaining marinade over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
