- ½ packet ranch seasoning mix (or to taste)
- ½ cup chopped green onions (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks for serving
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes or microwaving briefly.
- Drain the diced tomatoes in a strainer for at least 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream; blend until smooth.
- Stir in the ranch seasoning and adjust to taste.
- Fold in the drained tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese until well mixed.
- If desired, add chopped cooked turkey bacon.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld before serving.
