Ingredients
- 12 tablespoons butter
- 6 medium lobster tails
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Parsley and lemon wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Using kitchen scissors, cut down the back of each lobster tail shell and gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat.
- Melt butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat until liquid without boiling.
- Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper; cook gently for about 2 minutes.
- Place lobster tails in the butter mixture; poach on low heat for 8–10 minutes until opaque and internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
- Remove with tongs, drizzle with extra butter if desired, and garnish before serving.
