  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp beef drippings

Instructions

  2. 2. Sear the brisket in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
  3. 3. Transfer the brisket to a slow cooker or roasting pan; add sliced onions and minced garlic.
  4. 4. Mix together beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar; pour over brisket.
  5. 5. Cook on low in a slow cooker for about 8 hours or in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5-6 hours until tender.
