- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add milk while stirring until a dough forms.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick and cut out circles.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and stir in chopped turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Place filling in the center of each dough circle, fold over to enclose filling, and pinch edges to seal.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
