  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Gradually add milk while stirring until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick and cut out circles.
  5. In another bowl, whisk eggs and stir in chopped turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Place filling in the center of each dough circle, fold over to enclose filling, and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
