- 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose leaf)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk (any type)
- 4–5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1–2 teaspoons vanilla syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- Ice (optional for iced version)
Instructions
- Simmer the cherries: In a small saucepan, combine cherries and 2 tablespoons of water. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until softened, then gently mash to release juices.
- Brew the tea: Boil 1 cup of water and steep your Earl Grey tea bag or loose leaves for 3-5 minutes. Remove the bag or strain out leaves.
- Combine milk and cherries: Add milk to the saucepan with mashed cherries and optional cinnamon stick. Heat gently while stirring.
- Sweeten: Mix in vanilla syrup according to your taste.
- Serve: Pour brewed tea into a mug, strain the milk-cherry mixture over it, stir well, and enjoy hot or chilled over ice.
