Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the green beans and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet with the green beans. Cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour this sauce over the chicken and green beans, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and sauce is slightly thickened.
- Serve your stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy your meal!
