  • 12 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 cups cabbage
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 batch green onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp light sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, granulated sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth, and corn starch. Set aside.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat. Cut chicken into strips and cook until golden brown; remove from pan.
  4. Sauté julienned carrots, cabbage, and minced garlic in the same pan until softened.
  5. Add cooked chicken and drained noodles back to the pan; pour in the prepared sauce. Stir-fry for an additional two minutes to combine flavors.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving hot.
