- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 12 oz chow mein noodles
- 2 cups cabbage
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1/2 batch green onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp light sesame oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, granulated sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken broth, and corn starch. Set aside.
- Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and rinse with cold water.
- Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat. Cut chicken into strips and cook until golden brown; remove from pan.
- Sauté julienned carrots, cabbage, and minced garlic in the same pan until softened.
- Add cooked chicken and drained noodles back to the pan; pour in the prepared sauce. Stir-fry for an additional two minutes to combine flavors.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving hot.
