Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of turkey (deli-style)
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound each chicken breast between plastic wrap until about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Layer two turkey slices and one Swiss cheese slice on each breast. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks or twine.

  5. Coat each roll in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat generously in breadcrumbs.

  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. For the sauce, melt remaining butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour until smooth, gradually add milk, then stir in Swiss cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Serve warm drizzled with the Swiss cheese sauce.
