- 2 lb boneless beef shoulder or butt
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 green onions (sliced for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut beef into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and black pepper. Add beef and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread marinated beef on the sheet in an even layer and sprinkle sugar on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 6-8 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
