Instructions
- Slice the thick-cut bread into uniform 1-inch slices.
- In a shallow dish, mix shredded coconut, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Dip each bread slice in the egg mixture then press into the coconut mixture until well coated.
- Fry the coated bread slices for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm with maple syrup.
