- 2½ teaspoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, egg, and buttermilk until smooth.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients gently until just mixed.
- Layer half of the batter in the prepared dish, sprinkle with streusel topping, then add remaining batter on top.
- Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
