Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic; drain excess fat.
- Add beef broth and Italian seasoning to the skillet; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer on low heat until slightly thickened.
- Fold in cooked pasta shells until well-coated; adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with herbs or cheese as desired.
