Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 9 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz Velveeta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions; reserve some pasta water before draining.
- Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning and cook in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown; transfer to a plate.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in butter, then stir in heavy cream and cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add tortellini to the sauce; mix well. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until heated through.
