- 1 lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Dice the chicken, chop the onion, mince the garlic, and slice the mushrooms.
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent, then add mushrooms until softened.
- Add diced chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well; gradually pour in chicken broth while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Return cooked turkey bacon to the skillet; simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot with garlic naan, rice, or crispy fries.
