Ingredients
- 200g fettuccine or linguine
- 250g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml heavy cream or half-and-half
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika; sauté until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, add more butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and return shrimp to the skillet. Mix gently until well-coated.
- Serve immediately alongside steamed broccoli and garlic toast.
