Ingredients
- 1 lb ground Turkey sausage
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 14.5 ounces petite diced tomatoes
- 8 ounces ditalini pasta
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground Turkey sausage over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Add diced onion and cook for 1-2 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in the petite diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and ditalini pasta. Bring to a boil and cook until pasta is al dente (about 8 minutes).
- Reduce heat to medium and stir in softened cream cheese and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
