  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: Serves approximately 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly with olive oil.
  2. Remove outer leaves from the cauliflower head and trim the bottom of the stem.
  3. Slice the cauliflower into two thick "steaks" about 1-inch thick by cutting down through the center.
  4. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  5. Place cauliflower steaks on the baking sheet and brush both sides generously with the seasoning mixture.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender-crisp and golden brown around edges. For extra crispiness, broil on high for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Allow to rest briefly before serving hot.
