Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly with olive oil.
- Remove outer leaves from the cauliflower head and trim the bottom of the stem.
- Slice the cauliflower into two thick "steaks" about 1-inch thick by cutting down through the center.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place cauliflower steaks on the baking sheet and brush both sides generously with the seasoning mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender-crisp and golden brown around edges. For extra crispiness, broil on high for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Allow to rest briefly before serving hot.
