  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. For the filling, mix melted butter with brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
  5. Layer half of the batter in the greased pan, followed by half of the cinnamon filling. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the filling. Swirl gently for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  7. While cooling, prepare icing by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread before slicing.
