Instructions
- Caramelize the onions by heating olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, egg, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and cooled caramelized onions. Mix gently.
