- 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and melt the unsalted butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter without stirring.
- In another bowl, mix peaches with the remaining sugar and cinnamon; spoon evenly over the batter without stirring.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
