Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 8-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cake flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and vegetable oil until smooth. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients while alternating with milk and sour cream.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth. Gently fold in sprinkles.
- Divide the batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
