Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Sauté diced onion for 2–3 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned (about 5–6 minutes), draining excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in beef broth, season with salt and black pepper, and let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the beef mixture, ensuring everything is well coated.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.
