Ingredients
- 1½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1½ lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden brown and fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- Season the cubed steak with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear the steak cubes in batches for about 2–3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Lower the heat to medium-low; add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Return the potatoes to the pan and toss everything together for another minute to heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
