- 1 small clove garlic (minced)
- 1 1/3 cups Israeli couscous
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Stir in the Israeli couscous and toast for about 1 minute until lightly golden.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat, cover, and simmer until all liquid is absorbed (about 10 minutes).
- Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
