- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips or preferred mix-ins
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat together softened butter, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips or chosen mix-ins.
- Chill the dough for about 30 minutes if desired.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
