  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound shredded Brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 of a lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Stir in green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, sriracha (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Remove the cooked beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add avocado oil to the same skillet. Toss in the shredded Brussels sprouts, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until soft and slightly caramelized.
  4. Return the ground beef to the skillet with Brussels sprouts. Pour in sweet chili sauce and lime juice; mix well.
  5. Serve immediately over rice or quinoa and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
