Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 pound shredded Brussels sprouts
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 1/2 of a lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Stir in green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, sriracha (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Remove the cooked beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add avocado oil to the same skillet. Toss in the shredded Brussels sprouts, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until soft and slightly caramelized.
- Return the ground beef to the skillet with Brussels sprouts. Pour in sweet chili sauce and lime juice; mix well.
- Serve immediately over rice or quinoa and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
