- 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1½ cups cold milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)
- Optional: Caramel or berry sauce for drizzle
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Stir in sour cream until smooth.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the angel food cake cubes at the bottom. Add half of the mixed berries over the cake layer and spoon half of the pudding mixture on top. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Spread whipped topping over the final layer and drizzle caramel or berry sauce on top. Garnish with extra berries and whipped cream swirls.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
