- 1 whole fresh pineapple (sliced into rings)

Instructions
- Slice the fresh pineapple into half-inch rings.
- In one bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Combine with dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each pineapple ring into the batter and fry in hot oil for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with additional cinnamon and sugar before serving warm.
