  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons shortening

Instructions

  1. Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and peanut butter; mix until blended.
  3. Add melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and salt; beat until you have a soft dough.
  4. Roll out dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thick; use an egg-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
  5. Freeze shaped eggs for one hour.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl in increments, stirring frequently.
  7. Dip each frozen egg into melted chocolate until coated; place back on the baking sheet.
  8. Chill in the fridge for about 20 minutes or until chocolate hardens.
