Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red apple vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Lemon slices for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, red apple vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the chicken is fully coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 2-4 hours).
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place it in a baking dish.
- Top each chicken breast with crumbled feta cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the feta is golden.
- Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
