- 2 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir in milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour melted butter into the prepared dish; then, pour the batter over it without stirring.
- Layer banana slices on top and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Carefully pour hot water over the entire mixture without stirring.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
- Allow resting for at least 10 minutes before serving.
