- 2 pounds Ground Chicken (or turkey or lean beef)
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 2 large Eggs
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic
- 1/2 cup Whole Milk (or plant milk)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 cup Additional Parmesan (for sprinkling)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix until just combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape evenly.
- Melt unsalted butter and brush over the top; sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
