Ingredients
- 1–2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 large Onion (diced)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes
- 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
- 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1–2 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- Black Pepper (to taste)
- 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
- 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper; bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in uncooked bowtie pasta. Reduce heat to low and cover; simmer for about 10 minutes until pasta is al dente.
- Mix in ricotta cheese until combined. Adjust seasoning as needed; add water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Serve hot topped with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley.
