  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Stir in ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper; bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Stir in uncooked bowtie pasta. Reduce heat to low and cover; simmer for about 10 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  5. Mix in ricotta cheese until combined. Adjust seasoning as needed; add water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  6. Serve hot topped with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley.
