- 12 fresh oysters, on the half shell
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high (500°F / 260°C).
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, zest, parsley, salt, and pepper; remove from heat.
- Place oysters flat side up on the grill. Close the lid and cook for 2–3 minutes until edges curl.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of lemon butter sauce over each oyster. Close the lid again and cook for another 1–2 minutes until sizzling.
- Carefully remove oysters with tongs and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
