  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 lb thick-cut Turkey Turkey Bacon
  • 12 slider buns
  • Optional: brie cheese, arugula or baby spinach

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into 2-3 inch pieces. Whisk together olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken and coat well; marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; cook marinated chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F).
  3. In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes; simmer until thickened (5-7 minutes).
  4. Cook Turkey Turkey Bacon until crispy; crumble or cut into pieces.
  5. Toast slider buns if desired. Assemble by spreading maple glaze on the bottom bun, adding chicken, more glaze, bacon, optional cheese and greens; top with the bun.
