Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until well combined.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze: whisk powdered sugar with maple syrup until smooth.
- Allow the bars to cool for about 10 minutes before glazing them generously.
