- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, basil, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken and ensure it’s fully coated. Massage gently to distribute evenly.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hours for deeper flavor).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Clean and lightly oil the grates.
- Remove chicken from the marinade (discard excess) and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
