  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Light Corn syrup
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Pecans (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as per brownie mix instructions.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Cook over medium-high heat until thickened.
  3. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions and pour into greased baking pan.

  5. While baking, thicken the pecan filling on low heat before mixing in chopped pecans.
  6. Spread the pecan filling over the pre-baked brownies and bake again for another 25-30 minutes until just set.
