- 1.5 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- Marinate the wings in the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a greased wire rack on top.
- Arrange marinated wings on the rack in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Optional: Broil for an additional 3-5 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Let rest before serving warm.
