- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for a few minutes.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
- Layer frozen tater tots over the cheese and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
