Ingredients
- 12 to 15 frozen potstickers
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Optional: green onions, mushrooms, spinach or bok choy
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Carefully add frozen potstickers; cook according to package instructions (usually 5 to 7 minutes) until tender.
- Add optional vegetables during the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking.
- Stir in soy sauce; season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and optional chili oil for an added kick.
