  • 23 tbsp milk or heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a bundt or tube pan.
  2. Cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla extract and vinegar.
  4. Sift together cake flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Mix buttermilk with red food coloring until well combined.
  6. Gradually alternate adding dry ingredients and colored buttermilk into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 75-85 minutes, checking for doneness.
  8. Allow the cake to cool before preparing the cream cheese glaze by blending softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
