For the Bread
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
⅔ cup sugar
¼ cup butter, melted
1 large egg
2 large ripe bananas, mashed
1½ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup Reese’s Pieces candy
For the Glaze
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
- Add the egg and mashed bananas, mixing well until fully combined.
- In another bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the Reese’s Pieces candy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To make the glaze, whisk together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled banana bread before slicing and serving.
