Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine cream cheese until smooth, then mix into the butter mixture.
- Gradually add dry ingredients until just combined; fold in caramel sauce, chocolate chips, and caramel bits.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
