- ½ cup packed light or dark brown sugar

- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare two ungreased baking sheets.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a dough forms; fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets with space between each cookie.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown; cool on wire racks.
